Allisyn Ashley Arm (Panelist)
Allisyn Ashley Arm is best known for her role as ‘Zora’ from Disney’s Sonny With A Chance/So Random. At the age of four, Allisyn discovered her passion for acting and has since starred in a variety of movies, television shows, theatre, and over 50 commercials. Her feature film credits include King Of California opposite Michael Douglas, Eulogy opposite Debra Winger, Zooey Deschanel, and Ray Romano, and Meet Dave opposite Eddie Murphy. On the small screen, her credits include playing one of Phoebe’s triplets on FRIENDS, and guest roles on Still Standing, Judging Amy, Vanished, Back to You, Miracles, and Strong Medicine. Allisyn is a California native and maintains a Vegan lifestyle, and enjoys painting, writing, and roller derby. Allisyn was a BYOU Magazine cover story for the February/March 2012 issue, and now writes an advice column on friendships for BYOU Magazine with her BFF Audrey Whitby titled Ask A & A Girl Talk.
Katherine McNamara currently stars in the film Contest opposite Kenton Duty, a film about high school bullying, and has recently joined the cast of the new MTV series Happyland set to air 2014. She also starred as ‘Myra’ in the Disney Channel Original Movie Girl Vs. Monster opposite Olivia Holt, with a reoccurring role as ‘Claire’ on the hit Disney XD show Kickin’ It. Katherine starred on Broadway at the age of 13 as ‘Fredrika’ in A Little Night Music, starring opposite Catherine Zeta-Jones and Angela Lansbury. At the age of 14, McNamara graduated with honors from high school, and at the age of 17, recently graduated summa cum laude with a degree in Business with an emphasis in Finance at Drexel University’s Le Bow School of Business program. She is now pursuing an MBA in Investment Management at University of North Carolina Chapel Hill Kenan Flagler School of Business. A Missouri native, Katherine enjoys singing, songwriting, and all forms of dance. She is an ambassador for Stomp Out Bullying and The Lollipop Theater Network, a Girl Scout, and a volunteer for the Children’s Hospital of Los Angeles. Katherine was a cover story for the February/March 2013 issue of BYOU Magazine, and writes a regular column for BYOU Magazine on empowerment topics titled Kat’s Korner.
Olivia Holt stars as “Kim” on the hit Disney XD series Kickin’ It and in the upcoming NEW 2014 Disney show I Didn’t Do It. Olivia also starred as “Skylar” in the Disney Channel Original Movie Girl Vs. Monster, where she sang three singles on the soundtrack” Nothing’s Going to Stop Me, Fearless, & Had Me at Hello. Born in Tennessee and raised in Mississippi, Olivia began acting at the age of 3 in theater arts camps, and by the age of 10, she began booking commercials with national spots such as Mattel, Hasbro, KidzBop14, and Bratz. Once a competitive gymnast, Olivia still enjoys practicing gymnastics, playing at theme parks, and playing guitar and piano. She holds St. Jude Children’s Hospital close to her heart, often visiting children in the hospital. Olivia was a cover story for the December/January 2013 issue of BYOU Magazine.
Kelli Berglund stars on the Disney XD hit series Lab Rats as Bree, a bionic teen superhero with lightning speed. She started at the age of four with a passion to dance, training in ballet, tap, jazz, point, contemporary, and hip hop. In addition to competitive dancing, Kelli began doing TV commercials, including ones for Barbie and the Polly Pockets toys in McDonald’s Happy Meals. When she was 10, she became a series regular on TLC’s Hip Hop Harry, and also appeared on Are You Smarter Than a 5th Grader and American’s Next Producer. Kelli is a spokesperson for the Audrey Hepburn Cares Team, donating her time and money to help abused and neglected children. She is a California native and enjoys swimming, spending time with her little sister, photography, and creating and editing videos. Kelli was a cover story for the April/May 2013 issue of BYOU Magazine.
Madison Pettis currently stars as the teen cheerleader ‘Allie’ on Teen Nick’s new series Life With Boys, but she made her first TV appearance as a six-year-old on the PBS television series Barney & Friends. A year later, this Texas native moved to LA and starred in her first feature film, Disney’s blockbuster film The Game Plan, landing the role of Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson’s long-lost daughter, ‘Peyton.’ The same year, Madison became the youngest Disney Channel star, playing the role of ‘Sophie’, the President’s daughter on Cory in the House, and guest-starred on the hit show Hannah Montana. She’s starred in several other projects for Disney, including The Search for Santa Paws and a recurring character ‘Janelle’ in the Disney XD series, Lab Rats. Madison voices the lead role of ‘Izzy’–the only girl pirate–on Disney Junior’s hit series, Jake and the Never Land Pirates, as well as the voice of ‘LaLa’ in Beverly Hills Chihuahua Parts 2 & 3. She also plays the recurring voice role of ‘Adyson’ on Disney Channel’s hit show Phineas & Ferb. Madison is part of a military family (her big brother is in the army) and has supported the USO as its youngest entertainer. Madison was the cover story for the June/July 2013 issue of BYOU Magazine.
Stefanie Scott stars as the fashion-obsessed over-achiever ‘Lexi Reed’ on the popular Disney Channel Original Series A.N.T. Farm. She’s also the voice of ‘Moppet Girl’ in the Oscar-nominated film Wreck-It Ralph, and starred in the Disney’s Original Movie Frenemies. Stefanie is a singer, and performed the song Pose which was featured in the Frenemies film, as well as on the A.N.T. Farm soundtrack. Scott’s first big role was in 2009 in Beethoven’s Big Break, which premiered on the Disney Channel. She went on to have guest roles in the television series Chuck and The New Adventures of Old Christine. Scott has also starred in Rob Reiner’s feature film Flipped (for which she won a Young Artist Award), and played a younger version of Natalie Portman’s character in No Strings Attached. Stefanie is a Florida native, and in addition to singing, she loves to bake and help charities. She is an ambassador for Cookies for Kids’ Cancer, helping to raise funds for research to end children’s cancer through bake sales and other fundraisers. Stefanie was a cover story for the August/September 2013 issue of BYOU Magazine.
Peyton List stars as bubbly teenager ‘Emma Ross’ in the popular Disney Channel comedy series Jessie. She also stars as ‘Holly Hills’ in Diary of a Wimpy Kid: Rodrick Rules and Diary of a Wimpy Kid: Dog Days. Additional feature film credits include Disney’s The Sorcerer’s Apprentice opposite Nicolas Cage, Remember Me with Robert Pattinson, and 27 Dresses opposite Katherine Heigl. Her small screen credits include Lifetime original movies A Sister’s Nightmare and Secrets in the Walls, as well as guest starring roles on Gossip Girl, Saturday Night Live, Law & Order: SVU, and Cashmere Mafia. Peyton is actively involved with Girls on the Run, which inspires girls to be joyful, healthy, and confident using a fun, experience-based curriculum which creatively integrates running. She splits her time between Los Angeles and her hometown of New York. Peyton will appear as the cover story for the November/December 2013 issue of BYOU Magazine!
Laura Marano stars as the lead ‘Ally’ in the international hit Disney Channel television series Austin and Ally opposite co-star Ross Lynch. Laura started acting in theater when she was five years old, appearing in numerous plays, and continued her acting in national commercials. Laura went on to recurring roles on many television shows (including the hit FOX quiz show Are You Smarter Than a 5th Grader?), then booked a series regular role on Back To You, also starring Kelsey Grammar. Laura’s first film role was The Jacket, produced by George Clooney and Steven Soderbergh, and she’s done voices in many films, including the widely successful animated films Finding Nemo and Ice Age 2: The Meldown. Laura is UNICEF’s 2013 Trick or Treat Ambassador, joining the ranks of previous ambassadors: Heidi Klum, Chloe Grace Moretz, and Selena Gomez. She enjoys school, soccer, piano, tap dancing, and singing. Her favorite thing to do is to read books. She also has a penchant for songwriting, which is one of the reasons why she gravitated to the role of ‘Ally,’ and she has written over 100 songs.
