Skai Jackson plays the adorable adoptee Zuri Ross in the Disney Channel comedy Jessie, which sadly came to an end in October 2015. But don’t worry because Skai is featured in the spin-off series, Bunk’d!
Skai is featured as BYOU Magazine’s cover star of the anti-bullying issue which has the great theme of ‘Girl Power!’ The fall Girl Power issue inspires and educates girls how to be their most powerful self, as well as encourages girls to respect and support other girls. Skai’s feature film credits include GI Joe 2, The Smurfs Movie, Arthur, Liberty Kid and The Rebound. Her television roles include appearances on Boardwalk Empire, Royal Pains, Rescue Me, Sesame Street and the pilot Louie, as well as a starring role in Hallmark Channel’s The Watsons Go to Birmingham. Additionally, she has voiced various characters for Dora the Explorer, Bubble Guppies, Team UmiZoomi and Kick Buttowski.
Skai has also starred in numerous national commercials, perhaps the most famous of which was for
Band-Aid brand where she sang the Band-Aid theme song. Skai’s hobbies include fashion designing, playing video games and hanging out with her friends. A native of New York City, she now resides in Los Angeles.
